TTT 14: Bookish Resolutions/Goals

Top Ten Tuesday was hosted by The Broke and The Bookish
and is now hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl
This week is Bookish Resolutions/Goals. While I am taking part in a few challenges on Litsy, and have set my Goodreads goal, I don't have much set in stone for this topic. That said, I will list the things I do plan on accomplishing this year.

10. Goodreads 2018 Challenge - My challenge this year is started at 52, but I plan to reassess in May and will likely bump up that number as I read 175 last year, and 118 in 2016.

9. Litsy Passport - I have 10 countries:
1) Lithuania
2) Northern Cyprus
3) Fiji
4) Japan
5) Taiwan
6) Central African Republic
7) Senegal
8) Malawi
9) Equatorial Guinea
10) Niger
I have a full list of the books I picked for each country on Litsy, and will post is here soon!

8. Litsy #yearofthechunkster -
My Goodreads goal is on the low side this year for this reason alone! I want to read more larger books (or listen on audio) and get them off my TBR and into my 'read' list. There are quite I few I've wanted to read for ages, and this is the year I'm going to make an effort on that front.

7. Litsy A-Z - I don't have these planned out, but I finished all but 5 letters last year, and I'm hoping with the early start this year I can finish it without a problem. I'm trying for all A-Z titles, but if I can't find a title, I chose the mixed track in case I need to use an author's last name for a letter.

6. Finish All past reading requests and ARCs 🙈 I have some, especially from NetGalley and Edelweiss that have been sitting for a few months, and I want to get caught up, and to avoid getting so behind this year.

5. Finish series I started in the past, and reread those series that I never finished.

4. Read more TBR backlist titles than new releases

3. (Going with #4) The #BeatTheBacklist  challenge again this year

2. Book-buying ban (or at least buy fewer books!)

1. Post longer and better quality reviews, (I've been really slacking here!)

  1. Sounds like a great list of resolutions! I'm also working on the Beat the Backlist challenge, and finishing more series is always a never-ending goal, I feel. Good luck with it all and happy reading!
