Review: Rhodi Rising

29755662Rhodi Rising by Megan Linski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*I received a free ecopy from Xpresso Book Tours and the publisher/author in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.* Thank you!

NOTE: As book two, it's advised you do not read this review unless you have already read book one as there may, and will likely be, spoilers either in the blurb, or review if you are not ready to start this book yet! There will NOT be spoilers for book two, I try my best to avoid all spoilers, but in a series, that's not completely possible. :P

Blurb:
Forced into hiding.
Desperate to find their masters.

In the past few months since the attack on their home, twin assassins Dylan and Devin have grown restless. With the Rhodi facing extinction, they search for their masters Talidin and Tavana, only to discover they’ve gone missing. With nowhere to turn, the twins seek help from a pair of mysterious spies, only to find the trail gone cold, marked by hints of torture and destruction.

Dylan and Devin piece together the events that led to the disappearance of their fellow Rhodi. As their enemies close in for the kill, Dylan discovers that some things are impossible for a Rhodi…but not for a tigress.

The stakes and romance are heightened in this epic dystopian sequel to Rhodi’s Light. Bestselling author Megan Linski brings readers a young adult fantasy with magic, mystery, and an epic adventure that races quickly to a breathless conclusion.

Cover: Beautiful!
Rating: 4 Stars!
Overall: Exciting and Enjoyable
Characters: Well Written
Plot: Dylan and Devin must find their masters, but who can they trust when they are betrayed be a friend?
Page Turner: Yes!
Series Cont.? Yes!
Recommend: Yes!
Trigger Warning: Again this deals with mental illness and cutting as Dylan is forced once again to confront her weakness.

Another exciting adventure! Dylan and Devin are forced to stay with their aunt, uncle, and cousin Tristan. Determined to return to their masters, the twins devise plans to leave, but things don't always go as planned. On the run again, the twins meet new friends as well as some old friends, but who can be trusted? This review will remain short, as while I would love to say more, I don't want to spoil anything, and the blurb pretty much says it all! You don't want to miss it!
