Top Ten Books With X Setting (Fantasy Worlds!) #5

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and The Bookish.

Top Ten Books With X Setting
Once again, these are in random order, but here are my ten ^.^

Stephanie’s Top Ten

Ink and Bone (The Great Library, #1)
1. The Great Library, Ink and Bone (The Great Library #1) by Rachel Caine
The is one I am currently reading, and I love the setting! Set inside an alternate version of the Great Library of Alexandria where the library controls all books, and therefore knowledge!

2. Narnia by C. S. Lewis
What child wouldn't want to find themselves in Narnia? A wondrous world beyond imagination where Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve are Kings and Queens? Sign me up!

3. Middle Earth, Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
Although I don't envy Frodo and the Fellowship their grueling quest, I would love to be one of the Rohirrim! The horses are stunning, and the chance to travel to far off lands to meet Elves and Dwarves would be super tempting!

4. Camp Half-Blood, Percy Jackson series by Rick
This is another place that sounds super cool! To train and learn to control your powers alongside other demi-gods? Um, yes!

5. Dispocalypse by Michael A. Rothman
I just finished this one, and I honestly loved it! The world is a futuristic, post-apocalyptic/parallel world to ours, with an interesting fantasy twist!

This one was interesting in that is was almost medieval, and yet fantasy that blended perfectly. In parts you can almost forget it's not a historical fiction, while others are clearly fantasy. I love how the two are balanced.

The world of Cerulean was both beautiful and stunning! I loved the pictures, but the detail brought the scenes to life! A unique twist on fantasy worlds, this one is a must read!

The darker underside of fantasy, this magical, almost steampunk world is exquisitely grim and gritty,  while exciting and highly pleasurable!

Another mythology fantasy, this one delves into Egyptian mythology on an island ruled by cats!

While I haven't read the first three yet, I loved the glimpses of First Earth that this book offers. Another dark fantasy, this one isn't for the faint of heart, but if you enjoy it dark and dirty be sure to add this one to your list!
