Written by Lovern Kindzierski and Chris Ulm. Art by Doug Wheatley. Over three million people have been captivated by the MYST® CD-ROM game spending countless hours seeking to unravel its many secrets. Now the intrigue and adventure is revealed! Timed to coincide with the release of the long-awaited sequel RIVEN(TM), this comics series will explain never-before-revealed elements of the MYST® story! It focuses on Atrus, the creator of MYST island, and his sons Sirrus and Achenar.

Review:

This was the final issue of the Myst comics. There was an error where the two brothers were confused, and the names ended up switched. Instead of fixing the problem, they just dropped the who project, sadly leaving fans with only two of the four planned stories.

It's been many years since I've played the game, but Myst still holds a special place for me, and will always be my favorite PC game. This comic tells some of the back story, and fits well in the style of the Myst games.
