Review: Her Brother's Keeper

18437403 Her Brother's Keeper by Valier Hansen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Church secretary Becky Tate couldn't deny that Serenity's new preacher was charming...and gorgeous. But what would make Logan Malloy grow pale at the thought of giving a sermon?

How about if he'd never preached before? Logan was ordained, but had lost his faith long ago. He was in town on an undercover assignment, investigating whether Becky had been kidnapped as an infant. Raised by her beloved aunt, she knew nothing about her real parents. Logan's mission was to uncover the truth.

Now if he could just figure out how to do that without ruining the family Becky had -- and hurting the only woman he'd ever loved....

This is one that I wasn't sure what was going to happen from the blurb. I love that it was left kind of mysterious though, because that allows the reader to discover what's happening along with the characters! This book had more humor that a lot of the LIS (Love Inspired Suspense) books I have read, and I loved that about the characters, and how easy it was to laugh along with them! And the proposal! <3

Although not as exciting as some I have read, I did enjoy this, and recommend it as a light read for fans of clean romance. There is some elements of danger and suspense, but it's a lot more mystery than anything. The humor and mystery make it a quick read, and perfect to read while you wait, or are on the go and want something if you have some time to kill.
